We had a fantastic stay! The hotel's location was excellent, with lots of restaurants nearby. The staff was friendly and always ready to help. It felt safe in this neighborhood, even at night. The hotel wasnice and neat.
Nothing.

This a small apartment-hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The building is a bit old and creaky, but the apartments are clean and spacious. Other good points: free and reasonably fast internet; good location for walkable shopping and sightseeing, many cable channels (mostly Spanish, some English, Portuguese, and Italian. The facilities are not super-modern, e.g. radiatior heating, but that adds something to the atmosphere.

Good location.
Decor a bit tired, but spacious and comfortable. Tv is in master bedroom rather than lounge room.

This hidden gem offers a great location, just one block away from Florida street and surrounded by numerous restaurants. the comfortable apartments provide all the necessary amenities, including a clean bathroom and helpful staff. the neighborhood is safe, making it ideal for solo travelers.
The building's age may bother some, as it has an old smell and outdated furnishings.

As I travel with a small cat, I needed a hotel that would accommodate us both. Edificio Charcas allowed not only the cat, but were so friendly and accommodating that it was a real pleasure to stay there. The rooms are big, with a large living room, and a kitchen with all the useful amenities (dishes, pots, pans, microwave, fridge). The hotel couldn't be more central, but despite that, my room was incredibly quiet, looking out over a small garden where one could have breakfast. The staff, however, topped it all off. The owner is a real benevolent presence in the hotel, setting a tone of friendliness and hospitality for his staff. Is this hotel a sleek, plasticy, design hotel where every detail is chic and cold? No. This is a warm, friendly hotel with soul, right in the heart of Buenos Aires.
My only, only comment for improvement would be that opening my room door was a little difficult because of the position of the key and the stiffness of the lock.

The location is perfect with many restaurants nearby and a busy shopping area within walking distance. the staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. the apartment was comfortable with everything needed for a pleasant stay.
The building is old and has a musty smell and the furnishings in the hotel were a bit run down. There was also a bird outside that sang loudly early in the morning, which made it difficult to sleep.

Spacious apartment, charmingly dated, quiet, great location, great price.
The fridge was rusted out in places and seemed a bit unsanitary.

Great location in the city, close to restaurants and shopping. Friendly and helpful staff, made me feel welcome.- Comfortable and clean apartment.
The building had a strong musty smell, which was off-putting. The furnishings and fixtures in the hotel were quite old and in need of updating.
